James D Armstrong stories keep you at the edge of your seat. I love the endings. The story I liked the most is “The Author.” I guess I relate to the story, being a writer and all. It makes you think what would happen if your characters that died in the stories would do if they entered reality.

“The Last” story reminds of the saying, “Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster… for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.” ― Friedrich W. Nietzsche
